Kaisdhaar

Trail to Kaisdhaar is one of the most easy and unexplored trails in kullu valley. To reach Kaisdhaar from kullu town you need to head towards lag valley road till badai village(3km). From badai a road is diverted towards Peej which is about 10 kilometer. From Peej entire kullu valley is visible. After reaching Peej a off-road of 5km takes you to chaklani village where road ends. This is from where the trek starts. After visiting the temple of jamdakini rishi we start heading towards Kaisdhaar a plain trek through dense devdaar jungle offers no tricky point on the entire trail. Any age group people can go on this trail. It takes 3-4 hours to reach the open spot after crossing the forest. Various famous villages can be sighted from the trail.
Kaisdhaar is a magnificent place to pitch your tents and you can also book the forest rest house according to availability. A small canteen operated next to RH provides every possible requirement one needs for a night arrangement. .
. Next morning you can visit Chambaghad top and return back to RH within 3 hours or can continue the trail forward via kupdi crossing Hathipur peak to reach Matasour another wonderful place to camp.
